Skating Seminars
Parker has trained with many renowned coaches and choreographers throughout his skating career, and now wants to share his knowledge and expertise with your skating club. Parker's skating seminar is designed to increase every aspect of a skater's performance. The seminar includes:
- insight and suggestions regarding the new scoring system.
- help in figuring out how to maximize the points to be the most efficient under the system.
- in-depth analysis of videos of elite skaters and a breakdown of their elements.
- demonstration of ice warm-ups-static stretching and exercises to elevate the heart rate before getting on the ice.
- demonstration of proper cool down exercises.
- on-ice work, where he offers suggestions on how to improve quality and level of elements.
- in-depth analysis of both program (artistic) component scores and technical element scores.
Seminars for Children
Parker also provides a seminar targeted specifically for children to help them improve their general skating skills and choreography, as well as teaching them the importance of off-ice training and warm-ups. Parker also includes sessions on goal setting, motivation, and work ethics.
